²⁵ His crucifixion began about nine o’clock in the morning. ²⁶ Over His head hung a sign that indicated the charge for which He was being crucified. It read, “THE KING OF THE JEWS.” ²⁷ On either side of Him were two insurgents who also had received the death penalty.
